Now a trusted structural engineer with a passion for architectural and sustainable design, Meike started in the industry in the technical sales department at a CLT and glulam manufacturer. She gained her Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Victoria, and has grown as a structural engineer over the past five years. Meike’s deep understanding of mass timber construction has only made her a stronger engineer, particularly when it comes to prefabrication, structural design, sequencing and logistics, and on-site constructability. She has contributed to a variety of projects, including commercial buildings, custom homes, and renovation projects. Meike also provides construction engineering and specialty design services for mass timber installers, and this hands-on experience enables her to identify potential challenges throughout the project, working toward innovative solutions and contributing to the overall success of the projects she works on.

Meike is a member of Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC), as well as the Structural Engineers Association of British Columbia (SEABC).
