Skanska
Jacob is a Senior Superintendent on Skanska’s Central Oregon team and a recognized practitioner in mass timber construction. With 20 years in the industry as a carpenter, foreman and superintendent, he brings hands-on experience and deep technical knowledge to sensitive, active and complex environments where safety and logistics are paramount. Jacob has completed several mass timber projects, including a personal favorite—building his parents’ home from the ground up, which features exposed Douglas Fir glulam beams and a pine roof.
Jacob is currently leading two major Central Oregon projects: the 100,000-SF all-mass-timber Redmond Municipal Airport expansion and the 54,000-SF hybrid CLT-and-steel St. Charles Redmond Cancer Center. Known for meticulous planning, pragmatic constructability input and a relentless focus on quality, Jacob builds resilient, beautiful and high-performance projects that deliver measurable benefits to the communities he serves.
