Ben is an Architect and Director of Lord Aeck Sargent’s Detroit office with more than 28 years’ experience working on complex Architecture and Engineering projects throughout North America and the Caribbean.



With a passion for mass timber and innovative design technology, his primary focus is with the Higher Education, Science & Technology, and Housing & Mixed-Use markets. Ben served as Principal-in-Charge on the Newberry Customer Service Center project in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, the first project to use Michigan-sourced wood (Red Pine) for the CLT panels used throughout the project.
