Principal
Weber Thompson

Cody Lodi, AIA LEED AP, is a design principal at Weber Thompson, a 60+ person architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture firm in Seattle, Washington. With 17+ years of experience, he specializes in mass timber and complex, high-performance projects. Cody is passionate about sustainability and creating contextual and approachable projects, emphasizing placemaking. He believes in leveraging emerging digital technologies and fabrication methods to inform the design and construction process.

Design lead for the Workplaces studio, Cody has designed several mass timber projects, including Northlake Commons, one of the largest lab-ready mass timber offices in the United States. Early experience working in the construction industry formed his appreciation for the role of craftsmanship in creating exceptional architecture. This shaped his dualistic value of technical and expressive architectural elements — evident in his award-winning work.

Cody serves on the AIA Seattle Honor Awards Committee and is a co-chair of AIA Seattle’s innovative Mass Timber Committee. As a graduate of the Master of Architecture program at the University of Washington, he maintains an active presence in the Department of Architecture. He has been the chair of the UW Architecture Professionals Advisory Council and is often a guest reviewer in the design studios.
