Drew Kleman, AIA NCARB, is the founder of PRESS, a Spokane, Washington-based architecture practice promoting mass timber design within the inland Northwest. Their current work is concentrated on developing effective strategies to implement CLT in the light industrial market, including a steel-CLT hybrid addition to the Mercer Mass Timber facility in Spokane, Washington, and speculative warehouse prototype designs with RC Andersen.

Drew’s prior mass timber experience includes leading Katerra’s CLT Industrial product development and state-side design lead of the Catalyst Building — the latter a national AIA Award winner for Holistic Design.

An Ohio native and University of Cincinnati grad, Drew has called the Pacific Northwest home for almost a decade with his wife Ginny and daughter Jo.
