John Ferns started his career with Gensler in 2017 and over the years, he has worked on commercial, retail, institutional and mission critical projects. As a project architect, he is fully engaged in all aspects of a project from design, visualization, documentation and construction administration. He is passionate about utilizing community engagement and sustainable interventions to have a greater design impact in our communities. Recently, John was the project architect for the sustainable design of two hybrid mass timber data centers for Microsoft.
