Laura Sisson

Laura is a Mechanical Engineer in HH Angus’ Health Division – a group that has helped design over 15 million square feet of healthcare facilities in the past 10 years alone, and has been in healthcare for over 75 years. With extensive knowledge of clinical requirements and hospital-specific codes, Laura has delivered a number of successful new build and renovation projects. She is well-versed in the integration of sustainable resources – including mass timber – in to the built environment.



Laura is currently involved in the delivery of the new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital – one of the first hospitals in North America to have a mass timber frame. Her recent experience includes Penticton Regional Hospital, Royal Inland Hospital, BC Children’s and Women’s Hospital, St. Michael’s Hospital, Centre Hospitalier de L’Université de Montréal (CHUM), Bayers Lake and Royal Columbian Hospital.
