Pete Stewart is a 27-year veteran of the forest products industry and the current CEO of ResourceWise. He founded ResourceWise in 2000, the industry’s leading transaction-based wood fiber pricing service. Under Pete’s leadership, ResourceWise has grown into a global provider of wood raw material pricing data and supply chain expertise. In 2019, he became the President and CEO of ResourceWise and Fisher International through a partnership with Battery Ventures.

With the acquisition of Tecnon OrbiChem in 2020, Pete assumed the CEO role for all three companies, which were rebranded as ResourceWise. In 2022, ResourceWise expanded its wood fiber pricing globally with the acquisition of Wood Resources International and enhanced its expertise in low-carbon fuels with Prima Markets. Stewart spearheads the identification of acquisition opportunities and ensures seamless integration of new price-reporting companies and employees into the ResourceWise family. He holds a BS in Forestry from Texas A&M; and an MS in Economics from the University of Georgia.
