Steve Pryor, P.E., S.E. has been conducting research on the seismic performance of buildings for over 30 years. He has collaborated on the design and construction of many large building shake table tests, including most recently the NHERI TallWood Project, the tallest full-scale building ever tested on a shake table. Over the last 27 years at Simpson Strong-Tie, Steve has led the development of many of their lateral force resisting products as well as their large-scale structural testing facilities.
