Tim Gokhman is the Managing Director at New Land Enterprises, a pioneering real estate development firm specializing in mixed-use residential and commercial real estate.
Founded in 1993, New Land has developed 30 projects, creating over $700M in value. Driven by the belief that cities thrive when they are diverse, walkable, and culturally vibrant, New Land excels at creating built environments at the neighborhood scale, curating memorable spaces focused on the user experience. The firm has a long history of innovation in structural engineering, efficient design, technology and sustainability.
The company’s diverse experience also includes Milwaukee’s first micro-apartments, the creation of Black Cat Alley (a defunct alley turned public arts space), Crossroads Collective (Milwaukee’s first food hall), and two conversions of city streets into pedestrian plazas.
New Land gained international attention after completing Ascent MKE, which became the world’s tallest mass timber building in 2022. It currently owns and manages ~2,200 apartments and has $450M AUM.
In 2024, Tim formed Timber + Partners, a real estate development firm focused on mass timber development.
