Tim Seims is co-founder of the Build Perspectives Podcast, where he explores the intersection of building materials, construction innovation, and market adoption with industry leaders. He founded Tim Seims Consulting to help building product manufacturers, builders, and developers navigate product strategy and emerging construction technologies, specializing in mass timber, prefabrication, and offsite manufacturing strategies.

Full-time, Tim directs Nichiha Fiber Cement’s interiors strategy, working with sales and marketing teams to grow the Architectural Wall Panel business with architects, builders, and developers, integrating high-performance exterior cladding systems for commercial interiors.

With over 25 years as a building products industry leader, Tim brings a builder-first perspective to market adoption challenges. His consulting work includes connecting manufacturers with factory partners, conducting jobsite research across prefabrication projects, and developing go-to-market strategies for new building systems.

Tim is passionate about small-format mass timber as the pathway to mainstream adoption, following the same trajectory as engineered wood products over the past 30 years. He believes learning cycles, honest dialogue about what doesn’t work, and supply chain integrators are essential to moving mass timber beyond boutique custom projects.

Originally from the Emerald City, Tim and his wife are now based in New York’s Hudson Valley.
