Ornagh gained her Bachelor’s degree in Structural and Environmental Engineering and her Master’s of Structural Engineering from Trinity College in Dublin. Over her nearly 10-year career, she has worked on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and refurbishment projects. Ornagh started with a focus on steel-framed leisure and retail projects before moving to Vancouver (and joining ASPECT) in early 2020, when she became involved with mass timber and concrete structures, including tall timber towers. Ornagh enjoys contributing to architecturally-exciting projects, and particularly enjoys exploring different material options and scheme designs during the concept phase of a project.

Ornagh is an experienced presenter and speaker, previously sharing her tall timber knowledge at the World Conference on Timber Engineering. She is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of British Columbia (SEABC), a Chartered Member of the Institute of Structural Engineers (MIStructE), and a Chartered Member of Engineers Ireland (MIEI).
