Nick is a passionate advocate for mass timber having spent two decades working across structural engineering, CLT manufacturing, and timber prefabrication in Australia and his native United Kingdom. Nick launched Arboralis in 2023 in response to a growing demand for high quality design and support for timber structures and prefabricated buildings and has been involved in the design and delivery of hundreds of timber buildings, across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

He believes mass timber offers a key role in delivering better and more sustainable buildings and works with clients, both large and small, to further technical understanding of timber and low carbon construction techniques.

Nick is also a co-founder of Timber DiaLog, a new free-to-join community looking to bring together industry to share knowledge and experience to help increase uptake of timber in Australia and across the world.
