Alejandro Fernandez, LEED AP is a vice president in Thornton Tomasetti’s Structural Engineering practice. He worked on the structural design of numerous supertall buildings and bridges both internationally and in North America. Alejandro specializes in the use of mass timber as a construction material and continues to explore his findings on several notable timber projects in the United States. His work includes Ascent in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is currently the tallest mass timber structure in the world.
