Lena Ohta leads Meta’s infrastructure design, engineering, and construction sustainability program, supporting mass timber adoption and creating Meta’s responsible wood sourcing program. Named to Building Design and Construction’s 40 Under 40 and winner of the Malcolm Lewis Impact Award, Lena leads initiatives that achieve LEED Gold certification and drive progress toward ambitious goals in Net Zero, Water Positive, Biodiversity, Climate Risk and Resilience, Responsible Supply Chain, and Health and Wellbeing. With hands-on experience in over 150 green building projects and certifying over 60M square feet of real estate worldwide, Lena is passionate about collaborating with others to advance sustainability, scale innovative deep green solutions, and create spaces that benefit both people and the planet.
