Roundtable Summary and Panelists

This unique roundtable discussion will explore the barriers and obstacles of working with mass timber from the perspective of a multi-family home developer. Hosted by Sam Rodriguez of Mill Creek Residential Trust, whose firm has considered mass timber but are not yet convinced of the advantages of working with this unique material for their purposes. The panel will include leading manufacturers, both international and North American-based firms, along with a well known construction firm specializing in building with mass timber. The goal of this session is to identify typical issues for companies not experienced with mass timber and learn how to address those with a focus on the complicated facets of price as it relates to mass timber production.
