Benjamin Wright, AIA, works as a builder through an architect’s lens. Under his role as a Preconstruction Manager for the East County Library, he was responsible for understanding design requirements and translating these needs into a constructable and cost-effective mass timber solution. His experience in mass timber is rich with 3D modeling and detailing resulting in a solid understanding of CNC fabrication and on-site installation realities. Currently working in the Product Development department at Timberlab, Ben’s exposure to dozens of built mass timber projects feed into a creative space to provide new solutions for various markets.
