Kate Carrigg

Based out of Portland, Kate serves as the WoodWorks Regional Director for Oregon, Southern Idaho, and Hawaii, providing education and assistance within the AEC and Development Communities toward the use of wood and mass timber in commercial and multifamily construction. Kate holds a dual master’s degree from Oregon State University in wood science and civil engineering and has a decade of industry experience in the Pacific Northwest. With industry backgrounds in structural engineering and construction management, she brings a unique perspective to every challenge and project she assists with. Kate has extensive experience with a multitude of successful projects ranging from commercial mass timber to multifamily light-frame podium buildings and continues to be driven by her excitement for wood as an innovative and sustainable structural material.
