Katie Cava has been with Weyerhaeuser since 2018 and is a Sustainability Program Manager. She works across the company to ensure sustainability is integrated into business planning and the company is telling its sustainability story with authenticity and impact. She leads the implementation of sustainable forestry standards in Weyerhaeuser’s forests and mills operations and advocates for the benefits of sustainably managed forests in the market place. She is passionate about sustainably managed forests and the products that come from them and the benefits working forests can deliver to local communities and the environment.

She holds a B.S. in Biology from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Seattle University with a focus in Sustainability. Before joining Weyerhaeuser, Katie worked in community-based forest restoration.

Katie lives in Seattle, Washington with her family and enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor recreation opportunities the greater Puget Sound area has to offer, especially when the snow is falling in the mountains.
