Nick is the director responsible for the sales, engineering, project delivery, and site construction for Mercer Mass Timber (USA & Canada).

Nick previously held the position as senior vice president for the U.S. Softwood Lumber board, director for mass timber for Katerra, USA, director for off-site and innovation for the Wm Hare Group (UK, UAE, and Singapore) and the managing director of B&K Structures (UK), the UK’s largest mass timber and hybrid solutions provider.

Nick was blessed with the opportunity to successfully lead the design, procurement, and installation of Asia’s largest mass timber building, from concept to final build of the ‘GAIA’ project at the Nan Yang Technological University in Singapore. The project used 14,500 m3 of glulam and cross laminated timber. Nick worked with a wealth of talent and suppliers from Europe, UK, Asia, and Australia whilst navigating the challenges of Covid.

Nick has held various executive and senior advisory roles in the global mass timber Industry chairing and authoring influential technical guidelines to unlock the barriers to market entry.
