Paul is a licensed engineer in California and a certified building official. He serves as American Wood Council’s western regional manager. Paul is a private third party provider of building and safety services and is a building official for several cities in southern California. He worked for ICBO/ICC for 14 years ending up as vice president of Architectural and Engineering Services. Paul got his start with the City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.
