Scott Francisco is the founder and director of Pilot Projects Collaborative and Pilot Projects Design Collective (multidisciplinary nonprofit and design firms) based in Montreal that applies systems thinking to the co-creation of infrastructure and culture. He is the co-founder of several communities of practice including Cities4Forests, The Future of Forest Work and Communities, and Wood at Work. Scott is a graduate of University of Toronto School of Architecture (1996) and MIT School of Architecture and Planning (2003). He has taught at the University of Kentucky School of Architecture, Stanford in New York, Parsons The New School for Design, Kean University, and McGill University. He is a builder, a woodworker, and a forest lover, and learner.
