USDA Branded Program

Want to Exhibit at the International Mass Timber Conference?

This program can cover 50% of your tradeshow costs…

International trade shows offer valuable opportunities for U.S. mass timber companies to connect with buyers, build visibility, and explore global growth.

Eligible U.S.-based companies in the mass timber and engineered wood sector may receive 50% reimbursement on approved international marketing expenses through the USDA-funded Branded Program — including costs associated with exhibiting at approved trade shows such as the International Mass Timber Conference.

Supported by the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service, the Branded Program is designed to help U.S. wood product companies expand into international markets by reducing the cost of global marketing and promotion while connecting businesses with qualified buyers worldwide.

Eligible wood products include commodity timber, lumber, panels, and value-added engineered wood building components and tools. See this PDF for a full list of eligible products.

Cost-share funding may be applied to a range of approved activities, including trade show participation, promotional materials, and foreign-market compliant packaging and labeling.

For U.S.-based companies across the mass timber ecosystem looking to grow beyond domestic markets, this program offers a practical pathway to international expansion — combining financial support with market expertise.
