Bethany Mahre is a Design Director based in Studio Gang’s New York office. She leads projects and guides emerging leaders across the studio as a central member of the studio’s design management team. Most recently she led the project team of the David Rubenstein Harvard Treehouse Conference Center, completing construction in Fall 2025, and is overseeing construction of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare venue, both mass timber projects. She regards architecture as equal parts artistic and analytical, an act of creative collaboration across multiple disciplines and interests. Taking in Prior to joining Studio Gang in 2017 she was at Thomas Phifer and Partners where she saw through documentation and construction of the Glenstone Pavilions and Corning Museum of Glass Contemporary Wing.
