Billy Craig

BC Productions
Billy is consulting for the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities on a Housing project, exploring new methods to help two deeply entrenched communities – design and construction and affordable housing – imagine a new path to achieve their goals; with wood and through trust.
He’s leading a 2025 Wood Innovation grant on Modern Forestry and Mass Timber in the U.S., which will center storytelling through forest trips and documentary film. If the building industry better understand the rhythms of forestry, ideas can emerge for innovation and new pathways toward realizing a healthier future for forests, forest communities, and buildings.
Billy worked on the first mass timber accelerator with the City of Boston while at the Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) and was a partner to Olifant on the Three Regions grant that studied macroeconomic conditions in the U.S. South, Midwest and Colorado Rockies. His work includes breaking silos, building partnerships, and creating the energy and will for maximum impact.
Before starting BCP, Billy spent 12 years at the BSA as Managing Director. Before that, Billy worked on the private side of architecture and planning with Utile and Machado Silvetti. He lives on the north shore of Boston, MA.
