As head of construction innovation and sustainability at AXA XL, Cheri provides strategic leadership and direction in sustainable construction and innovation via the implementation of processes, technology, unique insurance solutions, and enhanced customer service initiatives across all construction lines of business.

She is dedicated to supporting AXA XL’s clients’ innovation efforts, sustainability, and technological maturity, which improve both individual enterprises and the industry as a whole. She is committed to developing innovative insurance solutions to support sustainably focused, technology-forward, innovative companies.

She is also a thought-leader, ambassador, and spokesperson for AXA XL, presenting at industry events and educational organizations.

Cheri has more than 30 years of industry experience in insurance, sustainable building, preconstruction, operations, and project management. Before joining AXA XL, Cheri’s most recent role was with Yates Construction’s Fort Worth, Texas, office in operations and sustainability management. Prior to that, she served in preconstruction and sustainability for LendLease Dallas. Her passion for construction risk management has its roots in her experience as a Partner in a small residential and tenant improvement construction company.
