Dave Robson
Group Vice President
Walbridge
Dave Robson leads the strategy, sales and go to market approach for Walbridge’s General Manufacturing and Utilities, Buildings and Mission Critical Group. He developed the company’s mass timber strategy and identified leading supply chain partners, including suppliers, manufacturers, fabricators and erectors, architects and engineers, and has built out the go to market strategy.
He’s a trusted expert who regularly educates Walbridge’s foundational customers, in the data center, manufacturing and building industries, on the benefits of mass timber construction.
Dave is a strong advocate of mass timber construction, pushing the boundaries on mass timber materials. At the Michigan Mass Timber Update, he highlighted Walbridge’s pioneering efforts as the first general contractor to use Michigan-sourced Red Pine CLT for a DNR Customer Service Center in Newberry, Michigan.
Dave and his team have supported several customers with mass timber construction projects – UM Mosher-Jordan residence hall, the East Hall dorm at Michigan Technological University, and the DNR Customer Service Center. They’re currently exploring other opportunities with several Division one universities.
Walbridge is one of America’s largest privately held construction companies offering construction management, engineering, and real estate services for customers in manufacturing, hyperscale data centers, automotive, defense, higher education, health care, and government.
