David Penka is a licensed Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He is also associated with the U.S. Green Building Council and a member of the Tall Wood Institute REACTS Consortium. In his work at DLR Group, he has prioritized mass timber as a building solution in a variety of projects, including innovative mixed-use design solutions, reimagining workplace design strategies, transforming spaces that prioritize wellbeing, focusing on equity and information in design, and addressing sustainable construction practices.
