Jacob Allen

Jake Allen is the Operations Manager at Evergreen Erectors, bringing nearly two decades of experience in structural steel and complex construction. A Union Ironworker since 2006, he joined Evergreen in 2009 and advanced from Journeyman to General Superintendent, Project Manager, and now Operations Manager, leading teams across a wide range of projects—from tenant improvements and seismic retrofits to K–12, higher education, and large-scale developments including data centers, casinos, event centers and sports arenas.

Jake’s mass timber and hybrid construction experience dates back to 2009, with significant growth since 2019. He has led and supported projects integrating structural steel with CLT, glulam, and composite systems across education, commercial, and retrofit work, including highly coordinated, multi-trade environments involving tiered construction and integration with steel, concrete, and CMU systems.

With certifications including Lift Director, Qualified Rigger/Signalman, and WABO Certified Welder, Jake offers a practical, field-driven perspective on hybrid structural systems. He has proven expertise in site logistics, sequencing, and trade coordination, with an emphasis on rigging and hoisting for steel, precast, and mass timber systems.
