With a 30+ year career background in architecture, construction, and real estate development, Jeb brings his relentless entrepreneurial spirit to the Tieton Cabin Co. He is a licensed architect in both Washington and California and was educated at Cal Poly SLO and Virginia Tech.
He brings a professional process management style to TCC from his roots in commercial design long ago at NBBJ in Seattle. He is passionate about small living spaces for their very personal nature and 25 years owning a residential design focused architectural practice on Bainbridge Island, Indigo Architecture & Interiors. He started a development company, Roost Land Company in 2005, because he thought it would be easier to explain his design ideas to himself than to clients! Turns out that is entirely true, rewarding, but expensive! The cabin company exists because he wanted the cabin in his minds’ eye; modern, beautifully detailed, and robustly constructed to last in harsh environments. He has a habit of getting into the details a bit too deep, but the cabin’s design and quality are the beneficiary of his enthusiasm. He’s an avid cyclist and snowboarder, and likes to talk about those passions almost as much as “all things design!”
