Juan holds a Master’s degree from the MIT Center for Real Estate, where he was awarded the Wang Fellowship and led the first PropTech research initiative in Latin America. He has also pursued Urban Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
Juan’s work focuses on creating value for sustainable economic, environmental, and social ecosystems, driven by his passion for economic development, sustainability, and technological innovation in construction. His articles have been published on several platforms, including ULI USA, ArchDaily, Glocal, Expansión, Real Estate Market & Lifestyle, El Economista, and Inmobiliare.
Currently, Juan serves as CEO of MICMAC, Mexico’s largest glulam and mass timber construction company. He actively contributes to the development of technology and ESG ecosystems across the Americas as a mentor at NAR Reach Accelerator, the leading real estate technology program. Additionally, Juan is an angel investor at Buildtech, a San Francisco-based VC fund, and collaborates regularly with Inmobiliare magazine.
