Roy Anderson is a forest products consultant and project manager with expertise in the mass-timber industry supply chain. As Vice President of The Beck Group, a Portland-based forest products planning and consulting firm, Roy has led numerous studies assessing the fiber supply, feasibility, and economics of CLT, glulam, and other engineered-wood manufacturing projects across North America. He is a co-author of the International Mass Timber Report, a comprehensive benchmark of the global CLT and glulam supply chain that has become a key reference for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers.

Roy presented at three prior International Mass Timber Conferences on topics ranging from feedstock availability, manufacturing economics, and manufacturing capacity. His work bridges the gap between forest restoration, manufacturing feasibility, and sustainable construction markets—helping connect raw material realities with emerging low-carbon building demand. With over two decades of experience in forest-industry analytics, Roy continues to guide businesses, public agencies, and tribes in building resilient, regionally grounded mass-timber supply chains that align environmental goals with economic opportunity.
