Steven has worked in the building construction industry for over 27 years, including the past 15 years as a vibration and acoustics consultant specializing in highly sensitive environments associated with advanced technology facilities, university laboratories, and healthcare facilities. He has consulted on hundreds of building projects around the world, providing structural dynamic analysis and evaluation, mechanical vibration control, building acoustics and noise control, and detailed pre- and post-construction vibration and acoustic measurements.

Prior to his work as an acoustics and vibration consultant, he worked as an engineer for Timber Truss Housing Systems, where he designed pre-engineered wood support structures for roof and floor systems in residential and light commercial construction projects.
